Investments Since
1992, Millis Management Corporation has
formed strategic alliances with individuals
and other corporate entities to acquire real
estate for investment purposes. As an
advisor to institutional clients owning
income producing real estate in the mid
1980's, it was second nature for Mr. Millis
to identify distressed properties that could
be turned around with the appropriate
expertise and capitalization. One such
property was a 40,000 square foot office
warehouse center that was acquired with less
than 50% occupancy, leased to 100% occupancy
and sold for a profit. Creating value
through the development process takes
imagination, experience, capital and a
willingness to take risk. The Millis group
of companies has exemplified these
characteristics many times over in the past
thirteen years. Currently, the Millis group
of companies is building a portfolio of
investment properties for future
development. In addition, it is the intent
to diversify the corporate holdings to
contain more commercial income producing
properties and an ongoing search continues
for this type of product. |
