Since
1992, when Millis Management Corporation
was
initially formed to acquire properties for investment,
a group of companies evolved that serve together to consolidate
the acquisition, design, construction and marketing of
residential and commercial real estate in a cost controlled
environment. Each company in the Millis organization provides
a different service with the common goal of providing
excellence in the design and development of unique and
distinctive properties. In addition, each company operates
as a separate profit center, which serves to benefit the
parent organization.
The Millis group of companies
perform a wide variety of tasks. The Millis Group, Inc.
identifies opportunities, performs due dilligence tasks
and makes arrangements for acquisition and financing.
Project design becomes a joint concern between The Millis
Group, Inc. and TMG Engineering, Inc. TMG Engineering
designs and provides construction drawings for residential
properties and completes the civil engineering requirements
for commercial properties. Millis Management Corporation
serves as the general contractor after design completion
with corporately owned heavy equipment and construction
personnel. Millis Management Corporation employs experienced
managers and operators necessary to complete site excavation,
underground utilities, storm water detention, water and
sewer lines, paving and hardscape construction. While
development is under construction, The Millis Group, Inc.
formulates the marketing process for the sale of residential
properties and the leasing and management of commercial
properties held in the organization's portfolio.
In many
cases, the sewage water
distribution plants and related distribution and
recovery lines are owned and operated by Royal
Valley Utilities, Inc., which is another member
of the Millis group of companies.
This strategic alliance of
these companies allows for a higher level of
profitability and a greater control over design,
construction and marketing expertise.
